The City of Casey is now accepting entries for the inaugural Casey Business Awards.
City of Casey is home to nearly 15,000 businesses which play a vital role in our rapidly-growing community. The Casey Business Awards offers recognition and support, rewarding the excellence and innovation of local businesses.
Casey Business Award winners will be announced at a gala Awards dinner on 27 August 2010.
The City of Casey would like to thank major Award sponsors: Fairfax Community Network, Commonwealth Bank, Melbourne Football Club, RJ Sanderson & Associates Pty Ltd and Stockland.
Award categories reflect the composition of the Casey business community and the categories for 2010 are as follows (we thank each category sponsor as shown in brackets):
Home-Based Business of the Year Award (Minuteman Press, Narre Warren)
Small Independent Retailer of the Year Award (South East Lawyers)
Agriculture and Primary Industries Award (Department of Primary Industries)
New Business of the Year Award (Chisholm Institute)
Manufacturer of the Year Award (Fyna Foods)
Food, Wine and Hospitality Award (VECCI)
Business and Professional Services Award (Monash University)
Trades and Construction Award (Stockland - Selandra Rise)
Franchise of the Year Award (Bendigo Bank)
Businesses, other than franchises, can each enter in up to two categories, while franchise businesses can enter the franchise category only.
All entries are in the running for two judges’ Awards; the Environmental and Sustainability Award (sponsored by Thiess Services) and the Innovation Award (sponsored by Women Making it Work).
In addition all category winners will be in contention for the Casey Business of the Year Award (sponsored by the City of Casey).
